Who We Are

The Center for Pregnancy Choices opened on January 22, 2009, the 34th anniversary of Roe v. Wade. We are here to provide direction, education, and care to women who find themselves facing an unexpected pregnancy, while encouraging choices that honor life--both of the woman and her unborn child.

The Center for Pregnancy Choices is staffed by volunteers who all share a common love and care for women, and a call from God to help and support them. We look forward to seeing you at The Center!

Our Director

Valerie Bowles is the director for The Center for Pregnancy Choices in Logan, Utah. Valerie has a passion for helping women in every phase of their lives. She draws on her strong Christian faith and her experiences of raising a family and being a breast cancer survivor.

Valerie is a native of England. She and her husband, David, moved to Cache Valley in 1972. Valerie did training as a nurse at the London Hospital and worked as a Charge Nurse at Sunshine Terrace Nursing Home before starting a family in 1976. She is “Mum” to Penny, who lives in Brigham City with her husband Tom; Simon who lives near San Diego with his wife Genevieve; and Amy who is adopted from Calcutta, India, and is a sophomore in Commercial Art at Pensacola Christian College, Florida. Valerie and David are enjoying their empty nest in Providence. They make frequent trips to England, San Diego and other places in connection with David’s work.
